Better and/or more recent work that Talen is willing to showcase with vague confidence. Pictures are alphabetised from the site's re-launch, but images added later will be towards the later pages, at the bottom. Enjoy!

Ancudell Sword
I wanted to re-write the demon lords and archdevils in the Book of Vile Darkness so they'd actually have some chops, as opposed to being kinda giggleworthy to a decently optimised party, while bringing them up to snuff in the context of 3.5. Furthermore, I wanted to ensure that the demon lords were more interesting (many of the higher-ups in The BoVD are just generic, boring 'scary demon guys', with only Mephistopheles having the style to pull it off. In order to populate the 'higher up' demons' domains with more appropriate threats for lower challenge ratings, I designed a handful of demonic aides. This is Ancudell, the half-dragon son of an Ancient Rust Dragon that now lives in Dispater's Iron Fortress. If I recall correctly, he was made to be a mobility junky, despite his seemingly-heavy armour, and he even had levels of Blade Dancer.

Aoryuu & Jesse - Getting Sweaty
A deliberately misnomered drawing from back when I was involved in GRIT. Aoryuu and his friend Jesse Sumisuke playing street hockey.

Yugolothy Taunt
A drawing for Shemska the Marauder off the WotC boards, of a Canaloth; in her opinion, the Canaloths presented in the MM2 were generally sub-par, visually, and not up to snuff compared to the artwork DiTerlezzi gave them back in the days of Planescape.

Aseidan in Armour
A character I played, Aseidan of the Seven Cities. While not overly impressed with him - indeed, playing Aseidan is what convinced me that the Paladin was a mediocre class, design-wise, seeing its flaws up close and personal - I was nonetheless enamoured of his backstory, and wound up integrating it into Cobrin'Seil. This was drawn as an attempt to get a gauge for his armour.

Asmodai - Nursey!
Paladins get no respect. Asmodai was the the combative healer of the Glory By Reluctance Party, even though I believe he preferred the term 'medic'. It hardly matters, though - they all called him Nursy anyway.

Asmodai, Whisper & Andy
Another drawing of Asmodai, along with his mount (Andy, on the right), and Squire (Whisper, on the left).

Azulia
Azulia Bleakwinter, the big sister of my Ranger-Cleric Meylar. All I can really say is that Meylar had a hot sister.

Azulia's Gift
Azulia's sword, a 3.0 weapon that abused some stupidly-cheap spells. I suppose that's technically my bad, but Azulia never got the chance to swing it, so it's not such a big deal, really. Regardless, the weapon abused the rules surrounding the 0-level spell 'Animal Friendship', for anyone still playing 3.0 and looking for 'new' abuses.

Beholderkin
A picture I drew for my Item Post log. I experimented for a time with 'Magic Items' that didn't actually function in the same paradigm as normal; That is, you can't just put them on and pull them off like a hat or belt. Instead, they physically altered you and occupied the item slot (or, in situations where they didn't deprive you of a slot, they cost more). In a compensation for the rigidity of the items, they got a slight price break. This picture is to exhibit a character who's had a Beholder poison infect his system, which grants him an extra pair of eyes, which hide in his hair.
